Dr. James Masellis DC

Chiropractic

Dr. Jim has been practicing chiropractic medicine for the last 19 years. He graduated from the National University of Health Sciences (formerly the National college of Chiropractic) in December of 2003. He received his license to practice in September of 2004 and started his career in the Markham area. Dr. Jim specializes in diversified technique and is a Graston certified practitioner. He also holds certifications in kinesiotaping as well as being a Level 1 Golf Medical Pro, certified by the Titleist Performance Institute. Dr Jim takes a functional approach to patient care and believes strongly in the benefits of hands-on therapeutic touch and combines this with restorative exercises and patient education to optimize one’s health.

Vanessa Rojas RMT

Kinesiologist & Psychologist

Vanessa graduated from York University in 2009 as a Double Science Major in Kinesiology and Psychology. Her strong beliefs in the therapeutic healing of touch guided her in her decision to become a registered massage therapist. She obtained her RMT certification in 2011 from the Royal Canadian College. Since then, she has become certified in Fascia Stretch Therapy (Level 2), Active Release Technique, NKT therapy (Level 1) and Traditional Chinese Acupuncture. She is also proficient with various modalities such as Ultrasound, IFC, Shockwave Therapy, and Graston Technique. Vanessa has also developed a unique and effective fusion treatment that goes beyond Swedish massage. Her treatment focuses on musculoskeletal realignment, functional movement, and long-term wellbeing.

Jessie Yeung RMT

Massage Therapist

Jessie became a registered massage therapist in 2012 graduating from Wellsprings College of Massage Therapy and Esthetics. She utilizes therapeutic massage to help stimulate the natural healing process of the body which in turn helps in optimizing muscle length and function. The primary goal of her treatments is to improve the quality of life of her patients in order for them to return to the normal activities of daily living.

Robert Lee, RMT

Massage Therapist

Robert has been in clinical practice since 2007. He has diplomas in Massage Therapy and Sports Injury Therapy and is currently completing his studies in Manual Osteopathy. He has worked in various clinical settings, corporate wellness and in High Performance. He also continues to support the National Track and Field athletes on the Athletics Canada Integrated Support Team. Robert believes in a holistic approach to uncovering the body’s inter-relationships of physical dysfunction.

Mary Spada

Administrator

Mary is our clinic administrator with years of experience working in a multidisciplinary clinic. She oversees our communications, scheduling, and billing. Mary is approachable, organized, and familiar with all clinic procedures. If you have any questions, she is the point of reference and will be more than happy to assist you with your needs.
